Product Details
These great little beads are commonly referred to as Dice Beads due to their resemblance to playing dice. In fact, they are made by a process similar to some vintage dice cubes whereby the glass is pressed using specialized tools. The production of pressed glass beads was a major industry of 20th century Bohemia and many special designs were created for export to the African trade. Today, vintage Dice Beads such as these, though harder to find, can still sometimes surface in Ghana, West Africa. Note that due to age, some strands may show signs of wear.
