Extremely Rare Strand Antique Tabular Venetian Trade Beads

WOW! Take a look at this unusual strand of tabular-shaped Venetian Trade Beads. The strand consists of several exceptionally rare varieties of beads including including flat Millefiore beads and Murrine Beads with a more mottled appearance. Millefiore beads are made by inlaying a mosaic cane with a flower design whereas the Murrine bead is made using glass chips on wound glass core. These beads are likely of early 20th century provenance however their exact age is not known. This is an extremely long strand measuring approximately 51" in length. Note the size of the penny relative to the strand. Individual beads measure between 16-27mm in width by 22-33mm in diameter, and 10-14mm in thickness. You will receive the exact strand pictured.
