They are worn throughout West Africa, specifically in Mali. These beads are multicolored and come the shape of a bulb. While each strand is unique, and may vary from the strand pictured, yet they have similarities. The glass beads are strung in a way that allows them to swivel around the cord. Some strands may not have white string wrapped at the top. These beads are greatly treasured and worn by Fulani women.
