White hearts derive their name from the inner core of opaque white glass that is coated with a layer of translucent colored glass. This process produces beads with a unique character as light passes through the bead. Beads such as these are originally of French or Czech provenance and traded in Africa. This strand measures approximately 26", with individual beads measuring about 4-5 x 3mm. Multiple strands pictured. Each strand sold individually.
