Sliced Black Antique Venetian Trade Beads

Old Trade beads such as these are as beautiful in their design as they are exceptional in their craftsmanship. Venetian glass beads were known for centuries as the highest quality and the workshops of Venice rose to prominence as the source for many of the iconic beads that are today associated with the African trade. This unusual strand consists almost exclusively of cylindrical beads with a Black & White Pattern. The long strand measures approximately 32" with beads arranged in a graduated fashion. These special beads would be suitable for the collector, bead connoisseur, or discerning designer. Some beads may be cracked or chipped due to age. You will receive the exact strand pictured.
