Antique Black Venetian Trade Beads

Old Trade beads such as these are as beautiful in their design as they are exceptional in their craftsmanship. Venetian glass beads were known for centuries as the highest quality and the workshops of Venice rose to prominence as the source for many of the iconic beads that are today associated with the African trade. This specific strand includes a nice combination of characteristically Venetian bead styles. This long strand measures approximately 24" beads measuring approximately 7-9 x 6-9mm.
